Privacy settings give you control over how your personal data is used and processed. Easy Space is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with GDPR and other privacy laws.

What You Can Control:

  • Data export and deletion requests

  • Marketing and analytics consent

Important: These settings affect how we process your personal data and cannot be changed by other users.


Accessing Privacy Settings

  1. Navigate to Privacy: Go to User Settings > Privacy

  2. Review Sections: Cookie preferences, data rights, and privacy information

  3. Make Changes: Adjust settings according to your preferences

  4. Submit Requests: Use forms for data export or account deletion


Cookie & Tracking Preferences

Control how we use cookies and track your usage of Easy Space:

Essential Cookies

  • Required: Cannot be disabled as they're necessary for the website to function

  • Purpose: Authentication, security, and basic functionality

  • Examples: Login sessions, security tokens, preference storage

Functional Cookies

  • Optional: Can be enabled or disabled

  • Purpose: Enhanced functionality and personalization

  • Examples: Theme preferences, language settings, dashboard layouts

Analytics Cookies

  • Optional: Can be enabled or disabled

  • Purpose: Help us understand how you use our website to improve your experience

  • Process: Our team reviews and contacts you before proceeding

  • Timeline: Review completed within 30 days

  • Important: This action cannot be undone


Requesting Data Export

How to Request

  1. Go to Privacy Settings: Navigate to User Settings > Privacy

  2. Find Data Rights Section: Scroll to "Your Data Rights"

  3. Click "Request Data Export": This opens the request form

  4. Provide Reason (Optional): Explain why you need the data export

  5. Submit Request: Click "Submit Request" to send

What Data is Included

  • Account Information: Name, email, profile data

  • Activity Data: Login history, settings preferences

  • Business Data: Space settings, member data (if you're a manager)

  • Communication: Support tickets and correspondence

Processing Timeline

  • Acknowledgment: You'll receive confirmation immediately

  • Processing: Our team manually reviews and compiles your data

  • Delivery: Data sent to your email within 30 days

  • Format: Secure, downloadable archive with readable files


Requesting Account Deletion

Before You Delete

Consider These Important Points:

  • Permanent Action: Account deletion cannot be undone

  • Data Loss: All your data will be permanently removed

  • Space Impact: If you manage a space, consider transferring ownership first

  • Alternative: Consider requesting data export first

Deletion Process

  1. Go to Privacy Settings: Navigate to User Settings > Privacy

  2. Find Account Deletion Section: Scroll to the red-bordered section

  3. Click "Request Account Deletion": This opens the deletion form

  4. Provide Reason (Optional): Help us understand why you're leaving

  5. Read Warning: Review the permanent deletion warning

  6. Submit Request: Click "Submit Deletion Request"

What Happens After Request

  • Review Period: Our team reviews your request within 30 days

  • Verification: We may contact you to confirm the request

  • Space Considerations: If you manage a space, we'll discuss transition options

  • Final Deletion: Account and data permanently removed after confirmation

Data Controller

  • Company: Avit Tech, LLC

  • Responsibility: Determines how and why your personal data is processed

Data Protection Officer

  • Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide our services

  • Legitimate Interest: Improving our services and preventing fraud

  • Consent: For marketing and optional analytics (where required)


Data Retention Policy

Account Data

  • Retention: While your account is active

  • Deletion: Removed when you delete your account

Business Data

  • Booking Data: Retained for 7 years for accounting purposes

  • Financial Records: Kept as required by law and regulations

Analytics Data

  • Anonymous Data: Anonymized after 26 months

  • No Personal Identification: Cannot be linked back to you

Marketing Data

  • Immediate Deletion: Removed immediately when you withdraw consent

  • No Retention: Not kept after consent withdrawal


Troubleshooting

Request Not Processed

  • Check Email: Look for acknowledgment and updates

  • Spam Folder: Check for emails from Easy Space

  • Contact Support: Reach out if you don't hear back within 30 days

Settings Not Saving

  • Browser Issues: Try refreshing the page

  • Clear Cache: Clear browser cache and cookies

  • Try Again: Re-submit your preference changes
